Congrats on Ollie!!! :)
;)
Sounds like a great addition to the already happy doodle family! How lucky you all found eachother. And to have the previous owner be able to visit must be very nice for her. Did I miss the discussion of why she needed to rehome him? Not that it matters anyway, as he is fitting in so nicely with your family. You will love having two actually. The most heart warming moments of our days is watching our two play together and then have one at DHs feet and one lay her head on my lap. one for each to love.
And you went into it well prepared by asking for others opinions and getting real honest answers. That's what we do here on DK.

I see now that she is relocating. How sad for her. But so reassuring to know he is in such loving hands and close to family. Win win for all.
Yes Sue, relocating with her job and newly divorced. She is a Lovely girl who truly Loved her Doodle. She knew at 11 months he needed more than she could offer him right now with so many life changes. She had many families interested. I am SO THANKFUL that she chose us!! He really had us at Hello-
It sure sounds like a great match and he is a s cute as can be. I'm excited for you all. I like having one of each, boy and girl. Their personalities are very different as I'm sure any two dogs would be, but sometimes I feel you can see the girls girl or manly man come out of them. I bet she had loads of people interested. And at 11 months, she's done the hard puppy work already. I'm sure it will be an easy transition for Ollie.

Thank You Sue!! I spoke to my vet first and she recommended a male since we already had Ellie, So that just worked out in our favor. I am REALLY Enjoying having "2" around! His owner did do ALL of the hard work. My husband is retired and home a lot. I am also a stay at home mom, so Ellie was never in her crate much as a pup. Ollie was crated just when his owner went to work, until his dog walker came. Today is the first day we left him with Ellie for an hour while we ran an errand. He was Perfect!! We are taking Baby steps, but he is So Content, Happy, and Adaptable!!!!

Glad things are going well.  Ollie is adorable.  It sounds like his owner was devastated giving him to a new home, but I applaud her for taking the time to find a suitable home - lucky you!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank You Allyson! She was Devastated. We Hugged and Shed tears together as she said Goodbye. I also Applaud her for having Such Strength~

I added an updated pic on my page!! For some reason I was having a difficult time attaching it to this Discussion~

Uploaded a video today on my page of Ellie and Ollie playing frisbee after a 3 mile walk on the trails.....LOTS of Energy!!!

A week ago tonight I went to bed wondering what Saturday Morning would bring with "Ollie's" arrival. I was Excited, Anxious, Nervous and only slept about 4 hours that night. Now a week later I couldn't imagine Not having him. He has far exceeded our expectations!!! He is Fun, Sweet, Loving and Quite a Character. "Ollie" You Truly had us at HELLO~
