Is it common or even normal for a doodles tail to curl up and over it's back(like a Husky or American Eskimo) Our new Goldendoodle has this tail that is always curled up....the tip touches her back most of the time. I posted a pic so you could kinda see what I'm talking about, I'd love to know if anyone else has one like this!?!? (sorry 'bout the pics...she doesn't stay still very long ~lol~)
Here's Luke's Teapot tail. We get lots of comments about it. Most are favorable. In any case, it's perfectly normal. Just like the many different coats in the doodles, tails also can be teapot style or saber style.
Oski's tail also curls into an almost circle--I call him my furry pig :) The interesting thing that we've noticed is that it actually takes him "energy" to keep his tail curled up. When he's eating, concentrating, tired or scared his tail hangs down, the rest of the time it's up. LOL

Our second Goldendoodle - a F1b - has the curly tail. Our first girl has the sabre tail so I wasn't expecting to get a curly tail. Called the breeder and she said it comes from the poodle - and, in fact, Bella looks exactly like her father. Ya just got to love 'em!
My Lucy's tail did that when she was young but she grew out of it.... it still has a bit of a curve to it but I think it's beautiful.. you can see pics on my page of how her tail looks now... either way, your pup is precious!
