She is a br/wt parti miniature, labradoodle. So very sweet and loving. She is very clever, (as they all are), but, my mind is blank, cannot think of a name, do any of you have any suggestions. Her mom is Jiffy, her dad is Pongo. Something different, cute, catchy, ...
- Marble (I know a person with that name)
- Roca (as in almond roca)
- Nutella (the best chocolate ever)
- Tilly (or Tillie)
- Lottie or Lotta or Latte (spelled in a myriad of ways)
- Marlie or Marley or Marla
My favorites so far are Puddin and Cookie (but is is lunch time and I am hungry!). I also like Paisley, because it makes you think of little swirly designs like that flow of white up her face and head. She's a beautiful girl. Lucky you! Diane
Hi Ann!
Is this little darling one that you are retaining as a breeder pending testing? If so how about Avonlee's Ava - English meaning is 'life giving'. Here is a link: http://women.evenhealth.com/cgi-bin/showname.cgi?q=Ava ~ there are some nice variations of it as well. She is a doll!
My mom raised Labs when I was growing up and we always named our dogs after writers, literary characters and artists....Blake is Blake for William Blake..One of my favorites...We had a Percy for Percy Shelley,a Byron for Lord Byron, Gandalf after the wizard in Tolkien's Lord of the Rings and my favorite dog was a female named Brontë which is a name I would use again for a female.....
Once you go Tolkien, there are a million names to choose from, especially if you go even beyond the LOTR trilogy. My friends used to have a Ridgeback named Beleg, but that's really more of a boy's name. When it comes to authors, I really like Dorothy Parker, so I always thought Parker would be kind of a cool name for a dog.
