Help?!

Why is my doodle doing this?! He snapped aqain today? Is it because of his ear infection? He has never done this before. The other dog wanted to play with him and he was laying down and he snapped! WTD!? I am getting worried. He never used to be so mean. What do you think I should do? I don't want him to become agressive.... Am I becoming paranoid?

Is he actually on medicine for his ear infection?  My sister in law's dog was on meds years ago for an infection and out of nowhere actually went after her....snapped at her right in the face.  This dog had absolutely zero history of aggression and never did anything since.......the vet seemed to think it was the medicine.  

And if your pup is not on medicine maybe he is just very agitated because he is in pain?  Wishing you the best!

He is on medicine. I hope that is why because he hasn't done this until his ears started bothering him. Thanks for your help:)

i'm betting that he just needs his space right now.  Ear infections hurt, tires them out.  I'm sure Huff is just doing what he knows so that others leave him alone so he can zone out.  I know when I'm feeling out of sorts, I want left alone.  Try not to worry too much.

I feel like I overreacted. I was pretty mad at Huff for doing that but I wasn't here to see it happen, so I couldn't punish him this time and nobody who was here punished him. He got off free this time.... Next time it is a timeout for him....

I would guess Huff is just not feeling well and maybe needs a few days at home to recoup.  He probably just isn't in any mood for playing.  Can you keep him home until his ears are better?

That sounds like a good idea but my Dad never wants to leave him (I think he is too attached haha:)). I will try to convince him to leave him.:)

I will bet it's his ear problem too.  If he is feeling crappy, he dosen't want other dogs bugging him.  I would give him his space.  I am sure he will be back to his old self in no time.

I hope so. I feel like I am just being a worrywart. I don't think I should be so worried but like I said before, I guess this was kind of like a rant haha:) Thanks reading my rant:)

Huff tired, Huff wants rest, thats all there is.  Better days ahead.

Everyone is giving you great advice. Huff does not feel well. If both my ears hurt, I would snap too :) Heck, I would snap if one ear hurt. I think you should let him get completely back to normal and then see how he does. Until then, I would not worry.

Taylor...make sure the vet checks him again when all the medication is used up.  Sometimes it isn't quite enough and they need to stay on the medication a week or so longer.  You want to know that all of the ear infection is gone and not "almost".  I'm sure he is not a happy boy right now because of the ear pain.

Ya, she said she wanted to see us after 14 days and it is medicine for 10 days.
