Where to take our doodle in Mississippi or Kansas
Larry, Sidiqi and I are hitting the road, leaving Texas to visit either Kansas or Mississippi. Can anyone recommend something fun to do with our doodle in either state? That might help us decide in which direction to head.

Sorry, I've never been there, well, I did go to San Antonio once and loved the river walk, but we didn't have a dog at the time... :o}
Maybe you could do a google search for dog friendly parks/hotels/etc. in the areas you are visiting.
It would be good to post the results, if you don't mind!

Hi Jenel!
When we went on a trip to FL this spring we stopped in Pensacola overnight. Before leaving I looked up dog parks in the area and so we went and visited some Pensacola dogs at the dog park!
That's about all I can think of unless you need to leave him for awhile. In that case you could check out doggie day care places - Pet Smart might work.
Also if you are visiting family, as we did, you might have some doggie relatives to visit.

Here's a good website to find dog friendly places and such on. I found the hotel in South Carolina we stayed at on the trip back from Florida from when we went to pick Lilly up. Had 2 dogs with us on the trip.
