24 hours left... and a consensus is building around this design:
We like this design very much and it has consistently polled among you guys as the best available entry.  There are others we liked just as much... but none that we could say we liked more than this one.

The other current entries did not have the same impact with us and with you guys. See the polls:

Poll 1, Poll 2, Poll 3.

There were MANY good designers who entered very good concepts.  But it looks like among the current entries, this will be the winner.  Now, there might be a completely new entry that is superior... but with our long history of trying to have designers create a logo for us (for over a year!), we'd put the chance of that happening at about 0%.  We are not shutting down entries because it ain't over 'til it's over.

So how can we make this design better?  If this wasn't your favorite, what tweaks would you make to bring it into line with your "perfect logo"?  We are still revising this image so your feedback is important.

Thank you so much for your help.  Even if your favorite did not win, your feedback has changed the way each logo was updated.  We truly appreciate it!

I like 179 too - those heart noses are so cute!!
Me too Dori... 157 was my first choice, and then 179 then the one that is here... either way - a logo only STANDS for who we are... but it's the 'fingers' here that "do the talkin'" - LOL
I agree that loosing the mouth makes it more doodle like and I also agree that I like 179 better than this one but it needs to have the other font they were using rather than the one shown.  I think 179 is more doodle like.
I do have to applaud some of the designer's perseverance. Some have submitted variations TNTC, as we used to say. (too numerous to count)
0%. Now that's drastic since I'm once again obsessing. I think some of our best doodlers, in both senses of the word, may be working on ideas right now ---don't worry I'm not : ) And it ain't over til the fat lady sings as they say. We live in hope.
I do like the design above, but I was wondering about designs not in the groups we could vote on. For instance, Design #70 I liked a lot but it was not in either of the two groups that I saw we could vote on?
A slightly different version of #70 was in the first polling group.

Personally #163 is my favorite. Also I would like to see two doodles *kissing*. #163 could be revised to have two doodles (of two different colors) kissing. I also like the lettering from the neck on that one.

Constructive criticism on this one: Agree that I don't like the "smirk", also I really don't understand why it doesn't have a right ear?

Having 2 doodles kissing was my thought right from the beginning! I tried to get it to work with a free vector program, but with work and all just didn't have the time to figure out how to do it right. I thought a brown/black doodle silhouette on one side, and a white/apricot colored silhouette on the other side, maybe a bit smaller,  just barely kissing would have been perfect. I was also thinking of trying to get their doodle tails to meet over their heads in a heart, probably with an orange coloring inside or something. Anyways, ce la vie. If anyone has the time and program to create this, go for it! No problem with suggesting the ideas :)

lol, same here! I spent too long and then gave up.  I REALLY want to see the kissing, I'm actually really sad its a single doodle that is "in the lead"!

here was my pathetic attempt, I couldn't get the angle right for a true "kiss" (couldn't figure out a doodle in profile) #163 has a perfect profile doodle, that could work perfectly for a kiss!

Also, Vicki, your idea with the tails is super cute! Maybe its not too late?!

Vicki, I like your idea very much.

So cute! fuzzy faces, and you have the tails too... I like it :)  Thanks for sharing.
