4 month old lifting leg to pee

Farley is 16wks old and has started to lift his leg to pee when on walks.  Our other dog did not do this until closer to year.  Just curious if anyone had a puppy lift his leg at such a young age.  He is not getting neutered until he is 6 months old.

I have a 4 year old that still does not lift his leg! LOL My 5.5 yr old started lifting at about 1 yr and still does. It will be interesting to see the stats for those that do lift there legs, when they started this behavior  Your Farley is a cutie.

From what I understand, every dog is different. My boy is a little over two years old and still does not lift his leg even after he has seen the behavior many times.

One of my dog's was about 6 years old, another was about 4 or older (and it is only a partial lift), and still another NEVER once in his entire life.

Haley was probably 5 years old when he started occasionally lifting his leg.  Now at 8 he lifts it about half the time.  There is very little pee-mail here to encourage him.

Rio spent one day with his dad Remi and was three months old--or maybe a bit older and lifted his leg from that day on--he has four brothers and none of them lift their leg!
