A Dark, Doodle Debut

With Molly having had her second and last litter of delightful doodes we tossed around the idea of keeping a pup.  Ninja made our decision easy for us,  there wouldn't likely come another opportunity like this to be so close to the pups, for so long, in order to really get a feel for their personality.

While there were three pups, Ninja among them, that had lovely gentle personalities, Ninja stood out in being gentle, calm and of an amusing kind of happy disposition. 

Being black didn't hurt his case either, as we already own a cream dog, we appreciate the way a black dog better wears a romp outside after the rain.  Though, trying to find, in the evening, in a large yard, a black pup, who hasn't completed his "come when you're called" training yet, earned him the name Ninja. An LED bobble attached to his collar has helped a lot in curbing his Ninja powers. 

Being almost one-third larger than his peers, Ninja will give us a lot of dog to love.

So cute, welcome to Ninja.  I love the picture with them tethered together, that is how my Polly learned to walk on a leash and I swear she is better at it than her teacher.  Also thanks for the LED bobble idea, friend of mine has a black doodle and can use that.

So funny!  After reading your post I started clicking on the pictures.  When the second one came up, only the white dog was in the frame, with a lot of the scene of the sidewalk and bushes.  I thought I saw "legs" in the bush...I was looking for the elusive Ninja grin>>. So I did a magnify to check..nope, no dog there... so when I went back into normal size, the whole picture came into view   with the sweet pup and his big sister. Too funny.  Thanks for the puppy pictures and introduction to your newest family member.
