Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
He has been sick for a couple of days - but he seems a lot better now.
I like to guys to meet my sweetie
he is a medium english goldendoodle
His name is BUCK. (short for buckminster) HAHAHA - don't make fun... my kids named him for their favorite character in the movie - Ice age.
(the nurse at the vet - told me - he was their first animal with the name - Buck. I don't know if that is a good or bad thing...:)
He is very mellow and loving
I attached the pictures (is this the best way to do this? )

Oh Buck is sooo cute. Thank God, I thought you thought that the rabbit was your goldendoodle. haha. I'd still be pissed, sorry, but I would be at your breeder. She was sneaky. My breeder of ALD'si had an outbreak of PARVO whilst the dogs were at the trainer's place. And one had giardia. She was FREAKED. She was afraid her business would be gone, poof. She called each owner, told them that the vet and she were nursing dogs back to health and would not be sent home until completely well. Then she has an addl guest house, thank goodness, where she quarantined the rest of the litter. She slept with them. Her breeders were in the other house with her helper and husband. She fired the trainer after inspecting her premises, the trainer also groomed dogs, therin was the problem. Now each litter is quarantined with Patty, she sleeps with them in the guest house to keep them double triple safe. Luckily, alot of her clientele are buying second dogs now and they were all very understanding. She paid for everything and was so grateful when it was over. My opinion is that these are EXPENSIVE dogs and the breeders have enough money to have helpers come in to scour, etc. I'm just mortified that your breeder acts like this is normal.
Thank God the little guy is coming out of it. Poor baby.
haha - yeah - my kids have been desperate for a dog for so long. my mom took pity on them and got them each - their own rabbits. (which lives with my mom) but then it only took a week afterwards - where they were begging for a dog again.
I agree - the replies I am getting just doesn't add up. I am not a breeder or a vet so I will not act like I know more - but my spider senses are definetly tingling and also just using common sense - it just sounds odd. it good that your breeder was completely honest from the beginning. and people know - that these things do happen - its how you handle yourself - that makes all the difference. I can see - just having my pup for a few days - he has literally licked every surface of my back-yard. I can see why dogs get parasites. but all I ask is that you be honest with me.
Yikes ! do you know - how many pounds he was at 9 weeks = so I can better predict?
Buck is Beautiful. Thank you for sharing!
I see where many have already told you how to add the photos to the actual discussion.
