A dream come true! Tales (tails?) from the Doodle Cruise.

We started planning in July of 2011 and the Doodle Cruise was but a dream.  All the days of planning and waiting and finally it was here.  The chance to meet in person some of my DK IDOLS!  From the 1st moment it was truely like we were all old friends - because we really were old friends.  This past week was one I will never forget.  There were tons of laughs, some tears, dancing, way too much eating and drinking.  Doodle talk of course!!!  I am way to tired (and want to spend time with Rooney, Stuart and DH) to go into details - those will all come as people get home but I'll share a few photos with you all.  Oh and of course WE CAN'T TELL EVERYTHING - some things will have to stay on the ship.

One step closer to booking! The CanAm flyball tournament dates aren't confirmed yet for 2013, but it will most likely be October 11-13. If that's the case, the cruise will conflict, but I decided not to let that stop me. With our team, there's just no guarantee that we'll come next year anyway. Even the person that runs the team now is talking about going on a cruise in New England next Fall, so her cruise may end up conflicting, too. CanAm is a really huge tournament, so it's a little different than the rest of them, but we'll still get to lots of tournaments next year. With next year's CanAm being so up in the air, I'd rather go ahead and book the cruise. I just need to make sure I can swing it at work, and I should figure that out tomorrow.

Leslie - wow is all that I can say - I WOULD SO LOVE TO MEET YOU!!!!  You have the Cruise Planners contact info right?  Make sure you tell them that you are with the Doodle Group and try to get into the same general area that we are if you can.  I think at this point we are all on deck 7.

Well - I am THRILLED TO ANNOUNCE  THAT WE HAVE OUR 1ST INTERNATIONAL CRUISER!!!   Our own Nicky (Riley and new puppy Boris) is coming ALL THE WAY FROM IRELAND to be on the 2013 Doodle Cruise.  Only 362 days till the fun fun fun. 

Our Cruise Planner is still holding cabins - come meet your DK friends in real life.  For only a small deposit you can book your cabin now - the remainder isn't due to July 2013.  JOIN THE FUN!!!

Yes - Leslie (Halas) has booked with her mom - there is gunna by some flyball conversation in the group.  Can't wait to meet you Leslie and Leslie's momma!!!!
