Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Has anyone noticed that the website now seems to be censoring certain words, with hilarious results?
I first noticed this in posts where the word bitch was used appropriately to describe a female dog. The word kept coming up with asterisks in place of letters, and I didn't think that the posters had done that themselves, as in most cases they were breeders who are not uncomfortable with the word "bitch."
Now today, a Food Group member started a new discussion about the Natural Balance line of dog food, made by (or licensed by) the actor Dick van Patten. Take a look at the way the discussion comes up:

This is pretty funny, but also kind of scary. Don't we have any members named Dick, or with a surname that contains those letters (I have a friend whose maiden name was Dickler) and if so, are their screen names full of asterisks?
I'm going to have to think of some other common every day words that also have "naughty" connotations and see what happens.
**UPDATE**:
Adina has fixed the problem, which makes this whole discussion moot, but still funny.

It would NOT allow me to post or upload photos with the word INTERCOURSE the other day. I just kept getting error messages. Not asterisks
DICK is my favorite word. Spud's nickname on many days is Dick. Now what do I call him when he is being a Jerk? How do you even say, D-asterisk?
Anyhow, thank you for posting. I thought it was me.
For example--it would NOT load my above comments just now. Again. I had to reload the page.
Maybe big brother needs to read it first?
DH has a business agent named (Dick)Petersmith. Whenever he calls it is very hard not to start laughing. Actually the first time he called I did. I thought it was one of his friends joking around, NOT.
