Ad for Puppy Spot?

The last few times I have opened DK an advertisement for "Puppy Spot" came up.

Is this just random, like a target ad or similar that is called a pop up?  I checked out the puppy spot and truthfully in spite of all their claims, it seems a little wonky?  They say they are licensed but not what they are licensed for and that they check out all "their breeders" regularly.  They have an awful lot of breeders to check on, going by available puppies.

Is this something that can be controlled by DK and if so does Adina know, does anyone else get this popping up. Is it actually (!?!) reputable .

I do google puppies a lot just because I like to look at cute puppy pictures, so maybe that causes it to appear.

If it helps at all, I find that whatever products I look up or sites I visit tend to frequently show up on DK. Right now as I am typing this there is an add for Clinique directly above the reply box. And, off to right are some of the products that I ordered on Chewy.com  :-)

The ads you see are tailored to your browsing habits. We all see different ones, and I doubt that Adina can control this. 
 "Puppy Spot" is the new name for the notorious puppy mill brokerage that used to operate under the name Purebred Breeders LLC. After being widely exposed and sued, they've apparently changed their name but not their modus operandi. :(

I *think* I can opt DK out of specific ads that pop up.  I'll ask Clark how to do this ( I have done it before but forgot how).  Remind me if you continue to see these ads after the next 24 hrs.

I blocked ads from puppyspot.com -- but I can't guarantee that other sites won't pop up. Just click on the ad and tell me the URL it takes you to.
