adding a second doodle
ive been thinking of expanding our family. Lotus would be 1 year by the time our second doodle arrives.im interested in hearing others experiences and when is the best time to add another dog and which is the best sex to add with a female

Not an expert. Just wanted to say we are on our way home with our second Doodle. Meg is 17 months and Polly is15 weeks. I am excited and just knew the time was right for us

I can't speak to what's 'best', but we added our 2nd, Oscar, when Lucy was 3. It seemed like the perfect age because Lucy was already well trained and taught Oscar just about everything he needed to know regarding 'house rules', and he always looked to Lucy when it came to training too. Monkey see. Monkey do! Lucy was so gentle with Oscar, and the two of them seemed like the perfect match. Now Oscar is much bigger and stronger than Lucy but she still treats him like he's a little puppy. I also love how getting Oscar has helped keepLucy young and playful.
