adding cartoons to pictures

I am learning a lot about technology from using this site! It's fun and a little addictive! I see that many of you add hats, bows and even "modesty daisies" (LOL) to pictures of your doodles. I was wondering how you do that!

I have Corel Photo Shop.That is what I used for the daisy. If you do not have a photo editing software.Get a Photobucket account.It is free and you can dress up your pictures and you can use their embedding to post on a DK. DK uses HTML to post.

I have Adobe Photoshop--maybe I can use that? I'll fool around with it and see. If not, I'll try the free site you mentioned--thanks!

Adobe is better than Corel. I chose Corel because it has an animal glow eye fix.But my next cmp I will go with Adobe.

I use Photoshop Elements....and I get a great deal of the graphics and quickpages from a great site www.digiscrapdepot.com

Looks good! It take some time to get used to it.Just mess around with it. Make sure you set your photobucket to do not share.That way strangers cant see your pictures.

picnik.com - I use this one to add 'stamps' and frames to the pictures. It is also great if you want to take 2 or more pictures and make a collage for the top of your page
webfetti.com - to make cute slide shows of a bunch of pictures
smilebox.com - to make scrapbooks. I used it to make a slideshow and didn't like the results all that much.
zingerbug.com - to get graphics - birthday, holiday to copy to your page

all are freee but you dohave to join each site. Plese be careful - the family will think you have abandoned them!

Thanks for all the wonderful ideas, I just checked out photobucket tonight and am having fun creating fun photos. I also finally figured out tonight how to get Cali's pictures in the header of my page tonight. I am very excited about that since I have had many failed attempts.
