I couldn't decide if these photos that someone shared with me belonged in the Garden Group or the Photography Group so I decided to share them with everybody. They are quite special and the photographer is 15.

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing, Ms. F!

Thank you for sharing these photos F..

They are truly stunning...and like you...I noticed the "beading" around the eyes!  Just amazingly beautiful.

A hummingbird always reminds me of my mother...who passed away a few years ago.

She loved to sit and watch all of the birds that would feed at our bird feeder...but...the hummingbirds were always her favorite!

I too had an opportunity to hold a hummingbird.

We have large planters filled with flowers on our front porch...and hummingbirds often come to feed there.

I was outside watering the flowers...and a hummingbird came to feed.

I actually cupped my hands and was able to hold that hummingbird!

It was an incredible feeling to actually hold that bird...for just a very brief time.

It continued to move it's wings...but stayed in my cupped hands.

If it didn't actually happen to me...I would have a hard time believing it!  (smile)

I just love hummingbirds...and they visit our home often. I think they feel welcome here.

Every time they do...I think of my Mom...who I miss dearly and love so very much!

Another amazing story. I love hummingbirds too but I don't feed them because of the necessity to change the solution often to avoid drumk humming birds. I once was at a place in Costa Rica where there were all kinds of hummingbirds flying about our heads coming to feeders. Big, little all colors. It was so special.

Sounds like an amazing place...

I'd like to visit there one day!

Amazing, Those pics are Awesome. Thanks for sharing
