...the mom of the pup we were on the list for is in fact pregnant. A U/S confirmed it. This is her last litter and I simply adore her personality and temperment. And the dad is a sweetie too. They will probably have medium sized red and apricot pups. We keep working with Jake. Brisby is doing awesome, so patient with all this and snuggles in the evening with Jake. Brisby is set to take the CGC in a month and move onto the next step of therapy dog training and tests. Jake does excellent letting Grace or me walk him on lead. He's pretty skinny poor guy.
Jake goes to the vet today. We will see what's up medically. I'll keep you all informed. I have a feeling my vet will set upa payment plan for the foxtail removal surgery (ies).

Hoping for a good health check up.  My dogs have had fox tails removed = luckily with total and fast healing!  Keep us posted.
