Another sad craigslist situation...

need help: My dog is pregnant.

I have a Goldendoodle that was impregnated some were about mid October. Cant afford a vet. Any advice on care, food, or preparation would be helpful.
I cleared out an area for her in a spare room. I hope to have a whelping box for her. ( If anyone has one they're not using right now that I could use, That would be great.) From what I can figure she is ready to drop any time in the next 7 to 10 days.

I'm sorry I even saw this, it just breaks my heart.
There is apparently no limit to people's stupidity and irresponsibility. And the dogs are the ones who suffer.

Maybe he/she had the money for her when he/she got the dog, and now dosen't.

Yes, Bryce, you are right, peoples fortunes do change, however she should have had enough money asside when she got the dog to have the dog fixed. If you can't afford to fix a dog, you can't afford a dog in my opinion.

Can't afford a vet, but has a doodle. Has an intact female and lets her run loose. "was impregnated some were about mid October." Good supervision there, you piece of moron.

For the sake of the dog can someone with this knowledge contact her so the dog doesn't die from stupidity! Can someone send her an email with the steps she should take? I have no idea, that is why my dog is spayed!
Maybe that person can suggest something for the puppies...I mean does she know what type of dog mated with her dog. Ugh I am so ticked off right now.

She wants someone to give her a whelping box and teach her how to take her dog through labor and delivery, and then how to care for and feed the pups, all with no money for a vet. So I guess there will also be no money for anything the pups or mother need, either.
God forbid the delivery is complicated and the mother has trouble, develops an infection, etc. (and I'm assuming she's a first-time mom, so that's a good possibility) or one of the puppies needs help, resuscitating, special care or feeding, etc. which also happens often. A delivery, especially the first one, can take hours and hours. This woman doesn't even know how far along her dog is or how many pups there are, and you can bet the mom hasn't gotten the care and nutrition she needs through this, either.
What a mess. Stupid, stupid, stupid!!!!!!

You forgot a couple of steps Karen - she will then turn around and sell the pups on Craigs List at $200 a pop to "good homes." She will make a few bucks and thing "hmmmm, that wasn't so bad" so she will breed the dog again and most of the pups from all the different litters will end up in shelters including the mother dog because they will be sick of dogs by then. The End.
