Another Spring Day!!

Well, we woke up to snow today. Vern had me up in the middle of the night and not one drop of snow, but somewhere after his potty break, down it came. Not enough to get the humans that work off work, but enough for two Doodles to have fun in, once they wake up. I guess when you are up in the middle of the night, you have to make up for your beauty rest during the day. Meanwhile, I saw this on Facebook this morning and thought it was funny, especially in light of the DK gremlins we have been living with recently. Oh, and if it is any consolation, I think I saw Punxsutawney Phil dead along side of a back road near the state park yesterday. Some angry motorists in mittens, scarves, and winter coats were standing next to him shouting, "Next year, Punxsutawney Possum will be calling the shots!" Happy Spring!

Oh yes, and those little patent leather shoes. It was fun while it lasted. I thought I'd get to relive those days with my grand daughter, but she's only happy if she's in basketball shorts and sneaks or a soccer uniform and cleats.

No snow for us today...although possibly tonight. The thing that's getting to me is that it always seems to be GREY and there's dirty "leftover snow" everywhere. Nothing looks right...it's Spring.
