Anyone Else Not Getting Notifications?

I opted to be notified of all new discussions quite some time ago- years. Suddenly, over the past few days, I am not getting notifications of most of the new discussions in the forum. Is anyone else having this issue?

I also had experienced that recent business with having to sign in every time I came to DK; then it was fine, but it just happened again.

I haven't gotten notices of new discussions on the main page forever it seems. I have checked my settings and all should come through my email. I have no trouble with the sign ins though. I saw Sherri's blog on the main page but when I clicked it was not there. I figured that it was being sent back, after editing, for reapproval. One of the many reasons I still dislike blogs. I may have not gotten all the notices I should have but since I am a tad OCD I find them anyway by going through the main page. Since we can go backwards 10 or more hours this has become a major job : )

Karen, is Adina aware that some blogs never made it to the main page? I just realized my response to Sherri's blog didn't appear on the main page either.

I dont understand why blogs need to be approved either. Sherris blog is for friends to see only so it wont show up on the main page

Then why did a notice appear about it on the main page? And I think Sherri and I are friends and I didn't get a notice. I could respond, though.

Adina says she pre-approves blogs to make sure they shouldn't be discussions, or so I think. It's such a pain, since I always see something I want to edit after something I write appears , which require re-approval. I almost never write blogs but they do stick around longer.

I didn't know that Sherri's blog was friends only.

But Adina did respond here to Joanne's question about the adoptable dogs, so she must be aware of the issues I've mentioned here.

Yup, I'm not getting notifications on the discussions where I participated or that I got a new email.

I am not getting notifications of new discussions on the home page.  I do get notification of new discussions at least in some groups I belong to.  I am one of Sherri's friends and got her blog at first, but nothing comes through now so I am not up to date with it :-{

There is something amiss with that blog I think. I never get the notifications of new discussions on the home page.

There is also a problem now with getting friend requests. When I click on the request, it takes me to my friend's page, but does not show me who requested to be my friend.

Yes, I had a problem today too. It took me nowhere and I have no idea who made the request and couldn't respond.
