Ok so I have been potty training Marley for 3 weeks now. She did really well in the beginning and is still doing ok. But she has started to have a few accidents lately. While I'm carrying her out after she's been sleeping in her crate for a while she started dripping down my leg. And then once after my daughter set her on my bed she started peeing. I know they are extremely smart dogs and she knows to go outside. I just can't figure out if this is common in the beginning. I mean I know you have to expect some accidents. It just seemed odd that she peed on my bed. I have only potty trained labs before. My lab boys picked it up right away and it was not an issue. And suggestions or tips would be great! Thanks

Thanks for your thoughts. She did not have any accidents today but I really made sure she didn't have the opportunity to. We are going in tomorrow to see the vet for booster shots I plan on mentioning it to them to rule out the UTI :)
I'm embarrassed to say, it took us 5 MONTHS to get Penny totally housebroke. I've never had a dog in my life that took that long! Crazy!
Thanks for all your feedback on this. All day yesterday and today she has had no accidents. I did discuss it with my vet and plan to have her tested if it happens again. Crossing my fingers it was just a mishap. Wow Sally hoping that's not going to be me:)

Just one thing to add but I think you may have figured it out already--coat and boots on and leash in hand BEFORE you let her out of the crate--do not let her walk on the floor at all until she has been outside to go--keep her collar on the leash and then just snap the collar around her neck while carrying her, if you can--then rush outside. And my rule is no water or treats after 7 pm--
