Are Doodles naturally attracted to tissues??

OK, I thought it was just my older doodle Oliver, but now the baby, Rosie has learned the fine art of tissue stealing. I've always had trouble with Oliver searching trash cans for discarded tissues, he runs with them to his house and used to guard them, giving a nasty growl if you tried to take it away. After a lot of work, Oliver seems to have mastered the "drop it" command and no longer guards thank goodness!

 

I don't know if Oliver had anything with this, but Rosie was the last one running out of the room!!!How could anything so sweet get into any trouble??

lol.  Love the picture of "innocent," Rosie.  Allie LOVES used tissues.  Loves them.  Like an addict.  But she does leave the boxes and new tissues alone.

Huff LOVES tissue and paper towels, used or new. He doesn't get very many tissues probably because we don't use very many. He does get paper towels a lot though. He has to have at least one a day.:) He doesn't run around with them so much. He is more of a ripper. Huff the Ripper.....

 

He is too cute to punish him for it though. After all, it is a harmless addiction, right?:) I honestly, don't want him to get over it:) I kind of like it:) Is that weird?

I don't see ANY proof of her alleged crime! :) So sweet....

Louie and Breezy are DRAWN like magnets to all things paper...but only if it has a flavor...  ahem...I mean any used item with a (hate to be graphic) bodily fluid...YUCK.

We've had to be creative with our trash since Louie can open anything! Think I need to invent a doodle resistant trash can!!

It must be in their genes, Achilles loves paper of all sorts. In fact he would take a paper towel off the coffee table over a piece of food. Crazy Doodle!

Ok, SO Chloe has had this issue since day one-She is 4 now and we STILL cannot leave the toilet paper on the holder-we have to put it up high on the towel rack, we cannot use the bathroom wastebasket and everytime we take a kleenex out of the box on the back of the toilet, we have to push it back in! If you are in there, she will come and check on you to see if you slipped up. She does know the leave it command but this a fetish that will never go away! She also checks for an open closet door to snag some socks and coasters of the table. She keeps a strict eye on us-this is Chloe and this is what she does. If she does get to the kleenex she plucks them out and Myla snatches them and hides under the table to eat them!! You are so not alone,
