Atypical Addison's

We spent over an hour with our vet today. They did a full blood panel and a lengthy exam and history. Our vet is pretty confident based on lab work and symptoms that we're looking at atypical Addison's. Not good, but at least not too expensive to treat for the time being. She got a shot of dexamethasone and we're going back for a resting cortisol level. The breeder is devastated because Maizy has had 2 litters and has 2 dogs in her breeding program from Maizy.

I'm so happy to be on the path to getting things figured out and getting my girl feeling back to herself!

It is a good thing Maizy has you as her Doodle mom! You are taking GREAT care of her and I am hopeful that the plan in place will be just what she needs.
