Barnes's TDI test June 15

I can hardly wait until June 15 when Barnes will be taking his TDI test - last of my three Labradoodles. He will join Charley and Noble who are certified and are a TDI team as well.  We have been training for quite a awhile and I know he will pass with flying colors! 

With my visits, the clients can't wait to see Barnes, they have heard so much about this very very sweet little guy!  I am so very proud of him!

He's fabulous.  Can you tell me ( a newbie) what he needs to do to pass.  I'm in Ireland and am really interested in Therapy work.

In America they have to pass a 15 point test by an independent evaluator.  They have a website with the info people need about the testing.  Link: TDI-dog.org 

 

It took me a few years to get to this point with my dogs, but I just kept at it and finally I am getting where I wanted to be.  The facilities we visit all have so many requirement besides what your dogs go through just to get started.

Good luck!  You'll do great.  Clifford and Cloud just passed on Monday and I was a lot more nervous than they were, that's for sure.

Thanks Kim.  I know the first time I tested I thought I was going to hyperventilate.  The dog did not care, he made it easy for me.
