My emergency supply consists of

Stay safe everyone!
I live in California. We don't have many natural disaster scares-just a little shake every once in awhile. I think in a dangerous storm I would keep my Crush on a lead so that in an emergency she wouldn't get scared and run off, or get separated from me.
As soon as you said that I quickly added it as we were headed to the basement for shelter!
All those things and pee pads. I've been through Topical Storm Irene and "Super Storm" Sandy with my older dog. In Irene, he was just a puppy and I was terrified about him needing to go out. Luckily, the worst of it was at night when he was sleeping, but we had pee pads just in case we needed him to go inside. During Sandy, I remember letting him out during calm times, and then becoming terrified as it picked up suddenly. He came running back in, but looking back, I regret even taking the chance. It was hard because we had pee pads, but my dog would have only used those in desperation, and I didn't want to make him get to that point. I definitely think having them is good, in case there is no other option.
Sending prayers and best wishes to everyone during these severe storms and tornadoes! Stay safe!
