Hi gang!,

Been talking about you all and referring those who want doodles as well as new doodle owners to this group. Hope it has grown!

Mickey is into his 9th year now and mostly health, with a few cysts to deal with, but mostly healthy! Hope you all are doing fantastic!

With that said, anyone know of a great vet (maybe even holistic/natural) in Henderson 1st, rest of Vegas 2nd. Our vet is way to "cut happy" and throws antibiotics around like they are candy...

Aw, sweet face. You have to trust your vet. If you don't it is probably time to find another one. I am thinking of changing as well. The vet started with retired and I am not happy with who bought the practice. She seems to be more interested in getting a bigger return on her investment than in the health of her patients.

I changed vets about a year ago.  The place I was going to had multiple vets and got high marks for care.  As a result, they are very popular and are getting more and more clients.  The last time I was there, my appointment time came and went.  45 minutes later, I walked out the door and never returned.  I talked to neighbors and friends who have dogs, and looked on Yelp to find a new vet.  We are now going to a vet close by who has had his own practice for decades.  I've been happy with the switch.  Good luck with your search.  Mickey looks so regal in your photo with his front paws crossed.  Very handsome!
