Does anybody elses Doodle lay with their hind legs splayed out behind them?

Bix has laid like this since he was a puppy. The vet says it is a sign that he has good hips but it sure looks funny!

Just wondering if it is another one of those "doodle things"!

In my experience, it's just a dog thing. :-)

Some do it, some don't, and it's not really related to their breed.

Monty used to do that when he was little. Not anymore. I've not see Auggie lay like that at all.

Our late Thule used to do that.  We called it her frog pose or superman pose.

I live in Indiana and admittedly I thought your dog was named after the state especially since you call him Indi and our states Capital is Indianapolis which everyone calls Indy :)  But I love the Indiana Jones reference. That's so cute!

Oskar does it all the time & our lab laid like that when he was young.  They look funny yet really comfortable!

My brother's 50lb lab does it and it makes me laugh every time.  Neither of my guys have ever laid in that position.

duncan does the frog pose all the time. Usually when he's settling in with a toy or bone and he's really relaxed. Also when he's really tired.

Yes and when I want Peri to stay, sometimes I tell her to "frog it out" :)

HAHAHA i love it!  Zoe does this all the time! Bender never does it.

My in laws have a rotty/german shepherd mix and she does it too.  it's funny because she's so big!
