I am writing to let everyone know that my family is safe and sound, and I am hoping that the same is true for all of my DK friends from the area.  

What a horrific day for our beautiful city and another devastating event for our nation.  My thoughts go out to everyone who is injured or afraid.

I could not believe this happened when I turned on the TV today. I hope all of our friends are safe and I am so sorry this has happened again.

Such a terrible turn in such an inspirational event.  I worry...the cameras caught the whole ordeal and TV stations replay the video over and over and over again.  Does this not give the sick person(s) responsible an additional thrill to be able to continually watch the devastation that they caused?

  Wow....  First 9/11, the sandy hook elementary, a bomb going off in a public parade, and the supposed threat of north korea  bombing the US with a "nuclear" missile?  It's the hunger games all over again...  I hope every one was okay... except for maybe the person that set the bomb off....

So awful! I was about a block away from the marathon finish line. It was very chaotic, but luckily everyone I know is safe and sound. Thinking about those that were injured in this tragedy.

Another tragedy that reaches far and wide. There were 11 people from Newfoundland running the marathon, 8 had already finished the fate of the other 3 is still unknown.

Horrible, horrible, horrible.  My heart goes out to those killed, injured and their families and friends.  What can this kind of thing possibly accomplish?  It's sickening.
