Brushing...
How often do you have to brush your doodle? My baby's hair is super fine and silky. She get little mats so quickly! I can't miss even a day without some little mats starting. Any tips or pointers? I have never had a dog before with hair like this. :) She's so soft, she feels like a stuffed animal!

Get thee to the Grooming group!! There is lots of good advice there--I think the softer coats mat more, but usually puppy coats aren't too bad--the coat will go thru lots of changes in the next few years and maybe there will be less matting eventually.

How old is your pup? Ned matted seriously from 6 months to over 2 years. Now, at 4 he still mats but we can brush him well once a week and keep it under control. His coat is poodle thick and cottony. Definitely join the grooming group.
