Hi all! I'm not sure where I'm allowed to post info like this? I'm sure someone will tell me if this is inappropriate - just know it was done with good intentions!

My husband, Bernie and I are walking in the November 7th, Auburn, WA, www.2milliondogs.org event for canine cancer and comparative oncology research.

It's an awesome organization - definitely check to see if there's a walk in your area!

If you would like to donate to the organization you can do so through our page here:

Please feel free to forward the above link to any of your friends and family that may be interested.

We appreciate your support!

Thanks for posting this. As you may have read on DK our 10 yo beagle, Sherlock, was just diagnosed with cancer. I am going to sign up for the Atlanta walk in honor of him. Thanks again for posting.
Yes Nina! I'm glad there's a walk in Atlanta! We've been sending very good vibes Sherlock's way, please continue to update us as you find ways to keep him happy and comfy. Enjoy your walk and good luck if you're doing fundraising!
Thank you for participating in such a good cause!
Happy to make a donation! Just months before my daughter's wedding, her Dixie (a non-doodle, but a great dog) was diagnosed with lymphoma. Although there's never a good time to lose a pet, this would have been horrible timing! Treatment brought Dixie an extra two years of healthy living. Let's hope research can find less expensive, more effective treatments, or better yet, a CURE!!!!
This sounds like such a great cause!
People have been so awesome, we've raised our goal to $750 thanks to everyone's support and continued motivation. Bernie and his cute lil face and I will be making the rounds in the neighborhood this weekend!
I'm shocked they don't have one in the Twin Cities!
This sound like a very worthwhile cause. Good Luck.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention; I remember seeing something on one of the cancer sites but did not put it on our calendar. There is not a walk in our area, so we will join in with you; Rusty is only capable of walking about 1/2 mile before he tires (walking on three legs takes a lot more out of him, plus the effects of his continuing Chemotherapy treatments.

If you are not aware of our Rusty's battle with cancer please read my blog posts which chronicle his brave fight with this terrible disease.

Chuck & Rusty
Thanks so much Chuck, and Rusty's story is amazing! What a trooper, and a sweetheart. We appreciate your support so much!
