The last two times Seymour was in a car (yesterday and today) he vomited all over my car.  I even waited today to feed him dinner until after we took him for his bath and he still vomited.  Any suggestions on what to give him to calm his stomach before a car ride

My Guinness was the same way.  My vet prescribed Cerenia which we gave him before a cart trip and it totally eliminated the nausea and vomiting.  Eventually he outgrew his motion sickness and now we can travel for at least an hour with no meds.

My 1 year old, Ivy is the same way.  She drools and gets sick with car rides.  My solution for short rides is that I put her "box type" bed with sides in the back and she rides in that.  That seems to help with the motion.  If I have to take her on a long ride, I have to use Dramamine.  I use the children's tablets which are less drowsy and no drooling or sickness.  I'm hoping she outgrows it :)

The first few months after we brought Annabelle home, she rode in her kennel, buckled in. I had to cover it with a towel. Once I did that she loved car rides and never got sick, she would just sleep. I'm not sure if it was motion sickness or fear she had. At about 6 months I could quit covering it. Now she has a harness for the car and does great.
