Change of Plans!

Hello everyone!

As you probably know from the other discussion that we were going to get a Sheepadoodle. But after a lot of talking, and consideration, we have decided to get another Goldendoodle! I am very happy, but also sort of disappointed at the same time:( We want a doodle that will be like Bella,(not exactly) and even though I love Sheepadoodles, we think that it would be best to get a GD. We know that we will be moving at least twice while its a puppy, and read up on how they might not adjust well. And, we don't want it to "pick" a person in our house(not that it would not love everyone, but want to stay with one person.

Since we have a Goldendoodle now, We know what we are getting in to. Don't get me wrong, I love Sheepadodles, but It will not be the best fit for us. I want to give this puppy the best life as possible, and I think that we might not be able to do that with a Sheepadoodle. Nothing is for sure, and we may get a Sheepadoodle, but we really think another Goldendoodle is for us. I found the Sheepadoodle breeder, but good thing I didn't put down the deposit yet!

Congratulations on making a wise decision.  Years ago my husband thought he wanted a Parson's Russel Terrier.  However, once we researched the breed we realized that it was not a good fit for our family - not that every single dog might not fit, but the odds because of breed traits, were not in our favor.  It worked out for the best in the long run.

Thank You Nancy! A long time ago, I wanted one, but then after reading a bunch of books and researching, we saw that it wasn't for us either:) Then we decided on a doodle! Best decision ever!
