The other day I made a post about Cirrus having to be shaved, due to major mats. I promised a pic to follow. Here it is. I am afraid I dont know how to make the pictures appear small. But if it is to big I added it to my page. He looks quite absurd with skinny body and long hair on face and tail.

Poor Cirrus! He looks so cute with his big fluffy head & his tiny skinny little body. Just like Oski when he's sopping wet running out of the water, LOL

LOL (sorry) why did they leave the head and tail?? He would look better (almost whippit-like) with the head and tail trimmed down too, then he will grow back even.

Ya I have had some odd cuts in the past with my bichon cross too - lol!

Oh my...poor Cirrus. He looks like he needs to wear a sweater. It is hard for a Doodle to not look cute! Does he know what has happened to him? Is he embarrassed? I have found that you can't laugh at the poor babies when they don't quite look like they used to. My Gracie got scalped early December and I felt horrible for her. Our groomer was out of town and I didn't know it. Someone else did her and she looked like a Poodle when I brought her home. Luckily I had told them to not touch her tail or head. I love Poodles but I own a Doodle and want her to look like a Doodle!! Gracie sort of knew she looked different and I had to keep people from laughing at her. Her feelings got hurt. Actually, she looked a lot like Cirrus. Those skinny little legs that look like logs when they have fluffy fur on them. Keep telling Cirrus he is a handsome boy and in no time the fur will grow back!!! Love the picture!

Whe we first got Skeet he had to be shaved. He looked like a Q-tip. Be sure and keep telling him he "really looks good!" What a cutie. In a few weeks he'll be looking great.

Petsmart did this to my sweet baby when he was just a puppy, and I remember he looked at me as if to ask, "why am I naked, Mom?" LOL I cried all the way home from there. And I also had to keep telling him how handsome he was, to build up his confidence. It will take a few weeks, but if Cirrus is like Beau was, he will look better than ever then.
