Any recommendations for "stick" vacuums. I mulch my leaves with the lawn mower and now tons of leaf fragments come in with the dogs. My old stick vacuum is dying, probably from overwork. I guess I'm not the only one with the outside being brought in on a regular basis. I want something easy to use often and cordless.
oh man i wish i saw this yesterday. I bought a shark cordless vacuum stick (only $30) because now with Autumn here Duncan and I have been tracking in leaves after our walks. I haven't used it yet. It's still getting its initial charge. But i'm going make a mental note about your electrolux recommendation and if the Shark doesn't work so well I'm going to splurge. Thanks for the tip.
Hello!! I just bought one of the Shark little portable vac's at Bed Bath & Beyond. You can actually take it appart and use it as a hand vac to, it has a rechargable battery with it. It works AWESOME!!! I had one of the Hoover brooms that you charged and it sucked up the whatever while you swept - didn't work worth a crap. I love this Shark! It is great on furniture and steps to and it sucks up the leaves and grass great. Plus it really holds a charge!! I have 2 girls 10 and 7, Hunter my doodle and my husband and not ONE of them knows how to wipe their feet! LOL GOOD LUCK!
Okay - you may not wanna hear this, but the super expensive Dyson Animal vac is THE BEST! I broke down and got one because Taquito sheds and Peri gets leaves caught in her hair and I need a super vacuum! Trust me Dyson is worth the cost...picks up EVERYTHING and doesn't lose suction. You won't be sorry if you can swing it.
I ended up buying a Hoover Platinum Lynx. With a rebate it wasn't too expensive. So far it's much, much better than the old stick vac. I had. The battery life could be longer but I might buy a spare battery when the prices come down. This stick vac picks up things, like, kibble, that the old one would never do. Thanks again for the advice.
