Hoping and praying that none of my fellow Doodle Lovers are effected by this, but wanting to send my thoughts and prayers to those that are and to let you know your Canadian friends are feeling for you. How heartbreaking that society (and lost individuals) can be so cruel. Children under 10 years old don't deserve this fate for any reason.. God Bless!!

Yes, he killed her at home but she was a Kindergarten teacher at that school.  She never made it to school this morning.

So she wasn't even there, and he went into her classroom and killed 5 year olds? How sick can anyone be?

I am now hearing on the news that three of the weapons used were registered to the mother.

And it seems that the killer was the 20 year old younger son, Adam Lanza, NOT Ryan.

I "heard" that the older brother stated the younger had severe autism and exhibited OCD symptoms, etc. He obviously had some mental/emotional issues but there are many people out there with similar issues that aren't killers. What makes the difference?

But why kill all of those children, too? Senseless.

Praying these families find some sense of comfort and peace in the midst of the unthinkable. Heartbroken for each one affected.

I cannot even begin to imagine the complete and utter sorrow that these famlies are going through. I feel sorrow and I am so far removed from what has happened. I'll say a prayer but I'm not sure anyone is listening. :<(

I came home to find this on TV. What a terrible tragedy. My prayers go out to all the children and families involved.

My heart is broken, yet I feel some relief that my grand-kids and my Kindergarten teacher daughter are safe.  This is a sleepy little town about 30 minutes from here.  This is such a senseless and horrific tragedy.  The grief that these parents and families must be feeling is beyond anything I can even imagine.
