Constantly steps in his own poop!
Does anyone else have a doodle that steps in their own poop? Joe does if I stand too close to him as he is pooping and the gets excited and wants to jump around or sometimes he just constantly pivots on one back foot as he poops. Someone please give me some suggestions...I have cleaned his paws THREE times today!

hmm that STINKS!! Well maybe keep him on a leash and pull him away after he poops??

I guess I could do that. I forgot to add that he will even step in it if we are walking around the yard...not that the leash thing wouldn't work for that too. It's like he's a poop magnet. I can be 4-5 feet away from the poop and he trots through it as he walks beside me...UGH!

I always watch very closely! As soon as she starts to finish I pull the leash forward and get her away from it. DH took her out yesterday at 3:30am and she finished pooping and she sometimes digs her nails in the grass and scratches away well she did this right through a piece of poop and sent it flying 3 feet in the air. I laughed so hard at the sight, good thing I was sleeping!!!
