Can anyone personally message me about their experience with the breeder kingdomhearts in Ohio? Thanks!

Please check out the guidlines (link below) as these have been formulated due to vast experience of many doodle owners here on DK. If a breeder does not meet these minimum requirements then run a mile. There are good breeders out there and you are right to do plenty of research before delving in and getting a puppy that will hopefully become a member of your family for many years to come.

Thanks. I've read this many times and have contacted and researched more than 10 breeders. Just want specific insight on this particular breeder. Thanks.

I live in Northeast Ohio. I know nothing about this breeder.

If you said you read the " What to look for in a breeder" guidelines than you should be questioning.

I SEE NOTHING ABOUT HIPS, EYES, OR OTHER GENETIC TESTING!!!

Under Meet our Dogs it appears each dog has testing though I didn't look at each and every dog.  It looks like they have 12 breeding dogs.  Not clear if any are in guardian homes or if they are ALL at the kennel.

Then I completely missed the testing. Dont know if this was my fault as I did spend a bit on the pages.  Poorly designed site may be the reason. Cant hold that against them. If they are good breeders doesnt mean they are web designers.

Always, just because they test, results should also be available.  Make sure you see those and understand them too.

Thank goodness I'm  not looking.

Well if it was me there is lots NOT to like about that website alone.  Lots about how to pay can't see the  health warranty anywhere? Prices seem cheap compared to other breeders and bear in mind that health checking is extremely expensive.  Have you visited?

Wow, maybe I'm still naive about the process, and I have my dog and am not looking. But viewing this website myself I don't see any red flags.
I see a poorly designed website, but I do see health testing for the breeding dogs. Maybe it's not exactly what it should be? I do see a health guarantee on the home page, but obviously not a lot of detail.
If it were me I think it would be worth it to check them out more, visit them, and ask more questions about some of this stuff.
Maybe they are just clueless on putting a website together. Maybe the money they aren't putting into making the website nice keeps their costs down?

Or maybe I'm the one that is clueless.

That pretty much what I see too.  They do have a variety of dogs they breed but they are 'related.'  I wondered about the "most of our dogs"  live inside with our family. Does that mean some live outside?  In guardian homes?

I appreciate all the "second eyes" so much guys. This process has been very overwhelming to me as I've spent hours and hours contacting and researching web pages and emailing and calling breeders. Is it safe to say the list of breeders on doodlekisses all are reputable? Because when there's only one owner from DK vouching for them Im not certain that makes them reputable. I want to make sure I find a great breeder but am finding something wrong with each one whether it's a one year warranty, two many breeds, poor website or lack of contact , or they pick out the puppy for you! I don't think I can sacrifice on any of those. I wish word of mouth was acceptable here. I've out a post out to my community as well but the one mentioned I'm not comfortable with for some of the reasons above. When do you finally pick one and have faith its reputable?

Word of mouth is the least reliable way to choose a breeder. And I'm sorry to say that the "Owner Recommended Breeders" group is not reliable either. It's not monitored anymore and some of the breeders seem to have let things go with time.

I picked both my doodles, long distance at that but that was before I knew about DK, at least for Luca. But i did research the breeders. I found very few of the better breeders of multigeneration doodles five years ago or so let you choose the dogs. That was important to me too.

Hi Katie. I just sent you a private message. You'll find it in your inbox. The process of finding the right breeder can seem overwhelming, but you will find your way to your puppy with just this kind of comprehensive research. Good luck in your search!
