Cooper needs help....

Cooper needs help naming her new playmate (Aunt I guess...). 

 

Many of you may have read in my previous blog that we went to the humane society the other day looking at some black lab mix puppies. They were all gone, but another dog spoke out to my MIL. We came home and did some research, and went back to the humane society today to let my FIL and Cooper meet the dog and see how they got on. It went great! The dog also saw a cat in there, and didnt pay any attention to it, so should get on fine with Merry Pippin and Legolas.

 

This dog is around 9 months old (and still very chewy apparently) and was a stray. She has been in the kennel since Sept 26th. What breed mix do you think she is? (humane society guess below the picture)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

According to the website Lady is a friendly 9 month old white Lab Akbash mix female.

(although her adoption papers say lab/kuvasz)

 

Lady needs a new name for when she comes home. She is getting spayed on Wednesday and will come home on Thursday.

What a Beauty she is Kaylin!

She looks very much like Sasha's father..who is an English Retriever...so I would say possibly an English Retriever Mix.

I like the names Bianca and Bella for this Beautiful girl!

She will make a Great addition to your family!!

First - congratulations to your MIL and FIL.  "Lady" is beautiful (but looks so sad in her shelter pic).  Here are my votes for a name:  Sugar, Blanca, or Vanna (especially since lately I've been watching a lot of Wheel of Fortune on my nightly visits with my mom in her assisted living facility).

We went into town today so stopped by the humane society to see the puppy. She was so happy to see us, yet walked beautifully on her leash, sat when she was told to.... someone has taken the time to train her, and she looks perfectly healthy (apart from needing her ears cleaned). She has a pinkish stain round her neck, from a collar or choke chain perhaps. I took a few photos, not very good as we were walking

She looks gorgeous, I wonder what that pink mark on her neck is, perhaps they had  red collar on her that stained her fur?  Or she was tied up with something red around her neck.  Did you handle her all over?  as she been vet checked?  when will you be able to take her home?  Sorry for all the questions, just quite excited for you.

we checked her over apart from her mouth, she didnt like that. She looks good. She had a cut on her paw and had stitches a few weeks ago, but it looks good and she isnt limping.

 

She is getting spayed on wednesday and we will get her thursday. We will take her to my inlaws vet for a check up and her second lots of shots.

She soooo wanted to run and play, it was hard having to give her back. i hate the thought of her in that kennel on a concrete floor
