Couch Protector recommendations?

Hi all, does anyone have a nice, thick, water resistant, stay in place sofa cover they can recommend?

I do not have one yet, but we recently ordered a new sofa.  I also order several yards of the material they used to make the sofa and I am going to put a quilt back on the reverse side of the piece of the fabric which will cover the seating cushions.  In essence it will be similar to putting a blanket over those cushions.  Our doodles are not hard on the furniture, but if we are in the great room in the evenings, we always encourage them to come up and sit with us.  Crazy yes.

I cover the couch in our RV with a quilt and the chairs with towels - not stylish but it works well for dirt and damp.

I will do the same in the RV Nancy.  Works fine for there, but you're right, it's not very stylish in the living room.

Here is our new sofa shield. Got the paws up from Murphy and Bella and mom's happy as I just gave Murphy a bath and the couch is his drying place!  So far so good.
