Riley has to spin in circles probably 10 times at least before going poo. Then, if something sidetracks her (which is any sound or movement) it's like she loses count and has to start all over again. I'm standing there freezing saying Puulease hurry up!!! A cute habit she has is when she puts both paws over her eyes and moves them towards her nose. Would think she would go the other way to get the hair out of her eyes. Picture below. Does your doodle have any funny habits?

That is so cute!  I have seen my guy scratch his face once in awhile.  After he eats, he rubs his face on the carpet or couch while he spins around with his butt in the air.  I will try to get a video.

Here is one, I was reminded of this morning. Enz ie a " traveling pooper". I swear the pup walked 10 feet this morning, leaving a trail behind her. Yeah, I know...TMI! LOL

My Springer leaves a poop trail - always has.  He is 10 now!

Oh great, Nanc! I was hoping, this was one little habit Missy Enzo would outgrow! ;)
Sawyer thinks he's a cat! He rubs up against your legs and loves to squeeze through your legs, winding around and around just like a cat. It's his greeting for everyone. Not sure if he learned it from our cat or what.. Does anyone else's doodle do this?

Actually, Enzo does this as well!  But then again, we have cats too, so maybe it is "feline taught".  She will do a figure eight in and around your legs...and then stop mid stream and look at you, like " well, I am here to be petted....get moving!"

We call Charlie a "cat dog" because of this.

Funny, after reading this thread, I think at least one of my dogs does all these quirky things!

My Gus does this, and we don't have cats. He just does it. He also likes to "sit" on the couch and look out our living room window. Lilly on the other hand likes to walk around the house with something in her mouth. She'll take a dish towel, socks (clean or dirty), anything really. Luckly that's all she does with them. Doesn't chew them up or eat them. Just carry them around.

Riley goes from person to person rubbing against them or going under their legs. Loves to squeeze between the couch and footstool under my legs. No cats here to learn from. Eventually she'll sit pretty next to someone and lean heavily on them. Not necessarily looking to be pet but you can't resist. Another crazy thing is that she will go head first into you. Does it if you are sitting or standing. Ever since she was small I would sit on the floor with my legs crossed and she'll come over and bury her head in my legs. Now that she is bigger she keeps her rear up in the air which is funny. It's like how a guy would punch you in the shoulder to say hi I guess.

Crush walks around half-squatting for a few moments while she sniffs around for the perfect spot. She, too, will get distracted at the sound of people or other dogs, then has to start her routine over again.

HA....Violet paces back and forth and back and forth just to find the right poop spot.....really ??! Aperfect place to poop... AWE Voilet..... :)

Picco does his little frantic shuffle finding the perfect poop spot too.
