- I saw in the discussion about car crates etc that you have a Highlander. Do you mind if I ask if you have the new or the previous model? I have a RAV4 right now which I love. But with two large doodles and all the gear needed for outdoor agility trials it just isn't big enough anymore and I have been looking at the Highlander as the next vehicle (when funds allow!!). What do you think of yours? Are you happy with it? Thanks!!

I know what you mean about supporting the local shop. I've debated myself about where to buy, but with tax at almost 10% here in TN, I have to be a little cost-savvy. And I am most definitely a sucker for those silly red doodles!

Hey Deborah_ I posted on TFG a couple weeks ago about checking with chewy about the Orijen frequent buyer program and the customer service lady confirmed that they do participate and when it comes time for your free bag, you just have to let them know and they will go back in your purchase records and send a free bag!

- I noticed you live in Oak Park. There was a family that adopted a foster dog I had. They live on Humphrey ave. Kelly Cleveland adopted Ralphie, a chocolate labradoodle. She has 2 boys. Sound familiar? I have been to their home. What a beautiful area. I actually came across your profile because of the Natural Balance discussion. I feed both my dogs NB. I have no idea what I'm going to switch to. While I was in Chicago taking Ralphie to his new home I visited with Karen. (Karen & Jack). She's a great gal and Jack is one handsome dood.

I'd love to see you all again. There's a romp at Lakewood tomorrow but I think it's going to be one big mudbath, if not completely flooded.
Been thinking about food for you. Take a look at Fromm's Four Star line, particularly the Pork & Peas formula. But all of their formulas are moderate protein, many have no potatoes, and some are grain-free. Those that are not grain-free have rice. Also, if your pack is okay with oatmeal, take a look at Acana's Singles. There are lots more choices we can find, but those came to mind this a.m.

Welcome! This is a great place to learn/share about doodles. There are many groups that you can join. For example, there are groups for grooming, nutrition, health/medical, types of doodles, puppy groups etc. Look at the top of your page and click on Groups - check them out. Enjoy!
