DaisyDoodle loves her some little ones

Just recently I posted a blog about Daisy loving my afternoon charge, Noah my friends 7 month old....she is also in love with Sophia next door who is turning 2 on the 18th. Today at work one of my customers brought in her little girl Cassy who is 3....she is from Mexico and barely speaks English but she knows Daisy and calls out to her when she comes in Daisy, Daisy, Daisy...well, true to form my Daisy loves her too.

I can't believe I am so lucky, she is a gentle giant and it's all her. My last dog would have nothing to do with little people and I never let him go near them after the first incident. I was nervous the first 50 times she met a child or baby but no more. Of course you always have to be aware but pretty it's pretty obvious Daisy has good manners when it comes to children and babies.

Gracie Doodle is obsessed with my little 9 month old granddaughter.  She is always by her side and will let her do anything she wants to her.  Nonetheless, we do tell Eowyn to be gentle with Gracie because we want her to respect animals.  Eowyn's Rhodesian Ridgeback is her best buddy.  They are always together!!

Yep, she started crawling last week, had two teeth when she arrived for Christmas and while here cut two more upper fangs!  Not the two center but the dracula fangs...ha ha.  Went for her wellbaby visit and shots yesterday and is currently cutting four more teeth.  Top two center and bottom seconds in front.  She is crawling everywhere and chases Luna all over the house.  Also loves to play in Luna's water bowl!  All this has happened in the last two weeks since I last saw her.  I fly up every month and babysit for a few days while Megan flies to Omaha on business!  I love it!!!

Nancie, these photos brightened my morning.  It looks like Eowyn is the "dog whisperer."  And it's so good to see Gracie Girl with her "girl."  Lovely photos.

What a great post!  I love this!  Bexter and Maggie both are totally awesome with little kids.  They follow them around & hang out with the kids wherever they go...as long as they know where I am!
