Alright, I have completed one book. I have looked at 3 different publishing companies. Blurb, Mypublisher, and Shutterfly. Does anyone have any better suggestions for companies?

I decided that I might do two books. One, Darwin and Wes on different backgrounds. The pages say "Darwin and Wes like to fly in airplanes" etc. The second book I am trying to decide between opposites, colors, or maybe a "find the green ball' book?

I did quite a few pages so I will only share some of them. Keep in mind, I was going for a kind of silly vibe, so it's pretty obvious that they are Photoshopped but I think it sort of works.

"Darwin and Wes like to swing from trees like monkeys"

"Darwin and Wes like to fly in airplanes"

"Darwin and Wes like to go bowling."

"Darwin and Wes like to relax on the beach"

"Darwin and Wes like to float in a hot air balloon."

"Darwin and Wes like to swim in the ocean"

As you can see, some worked out better than others. I have lots of pictures of Darwin but only a few of my nephew... so it was kind of tricky. What do you guys think?

I think it's fabulous, Camilla! Cute, funny, wonderful! I can't wait to see the finished product!
I think that it's awesome! Can you make one for Natalie? ;)
Where did you get the quality backgrounds?
I searched Google images and filtered the results for images that were larger than 1200x1600. You could probably also purchase them from stock photo sites... but I'm a cheapskate.
I love Shutterfly and have done several books with them. My latest was some family history books. Try for 21 pages because you get the best prices if it is over $30 and 20 pages cost $29.95. Also, they have lots of deals on shipping and it generally costs $7.95 for shipping. By the way, these books make excellent gifts and with Christmas coming up, it is a great time to do a personalized book for a gift. My mother loves the ones I have done for her (birthday celebrations, family history). The other e-mail program I use frequently is Smilebox. You can see a couple of these little presentations on my profile page and take a look at the ones on Adrianne's page. The advantage is that you can send them e-mail to as many people as you want and add music to the presentation. As long as you have the good photographs (which you obviously do) you could try both and see the advantages for each. I have printed out the Smilebox presentations, but you don't get the music or the timed slideshow by printing. On the other hand, I love the hardback books with Shutterfly. Let me know what you decide and be sure to post your Smileboxes so we can all enjoy them.
I love it! The pictures are great!

I love it!!!!! There are so many companies out there now that you can make your books through. It is hard to chose. Regardless little Wes is going to treasure this book forever!!!
Camilla, these photos and text are fabulous. I love the bright colors and you did a great job!!!
