DH and I are expecting!!!

I am so excited to announce that my DH and I will be expecting in the spring! HE FINALLY SAID YES!

As many of you know I have been working on my DH for months to get a baby brother for Bailey. First it was a deal if the Boston Bruins won the Stanley Cup we would get another .....they lost! Then I had my eye on a doodle that was born on Halloween and would be coming home the end of December..he was sold!

Well it is finally going to happen some time this spring. A breeder here in town is planning 2 litters of goldendoodles for the spring. We put a deposit down the other night.. Needless to say I am beyond excited!!!

It will be a boy, DH gets to pick him out and name him too.. I don't mind, he picked out Bailey and she is a dream dog for us! So I am already planning this little baby's arrival and he isn't even conceived yet LOL

It's gonna be a long wait..........

Congratulations! As difficult a time as I am having right now with baby Yarrow, I'm already looking forward to the day I can get her a baby brother. Feelin' your joy.

What wonderful news, Elizabeth. Congratulations! While we were waiting for a little brother for Wally, my husband had to endure months and months of me agonizing (He would say, obsessing.) to come up with the perfect name for the little fellow. I was certain that I wanted my second doodle to be a boy for a whole host of reasons. Well . . . when Bonnie (our breeder) called to share the good news that Mattie had delivered eight healthy puppies, we were delighted, as we had first pick of the litter and were sure that we'd get the perfect pup to make us a two-boy-doodle family. After my initial excitement, she said, "Wait, there's more news -- all of the puppies are as cute as cute can be, and THEY'RE ALL GIRLS!" So, my suggestion to you is this: Tell your DH to pick out a few female names, too! P.S.: I couldn't be happier with my little girl. Charlotte is phenomenal :o)
