I finally got a decent video or Orwell's dinner dance. This is far less elaborate than what he sometimes does, but cute nonetheless. He only dances for two things: dinner, and when I come home. I'm seriously trying to figure out why he loves me. He only shows these behaviors for me. He's unhappy when I go upstairs to get something FOR 10 FREAKING SECONDS. He doesn't care if anyone else goes upstairs. He'll be allowed upstairs at the end of the month when he is completely reliable on the potty training thing. He is not interested in strangers or acquaintances unless they come to say hi to him. In fact, he oftentimes puts himself in between me and a stranger on walks. I guess he's just not a big fan of people... I feel like I'm almost living with a dog who has Asperger's like I do. I will never know why he was the first to come to me in the litter and tried to cuddle with me several times. At that point I was like, "Oh, that's cute." But as I've spent this month with him, I have realized that it was actually a bigger deal than I thought at the time. He was even the only one to follow me to the door after the visit. He woke up from his nap and said goodbye to me.
I also contracted a cold last night... he was in the laundry room dead asleep after I ran him down with exercise and I was in the kitchen when I went into a sneezing fit (it wasn't terribly loud). He immediately comes trotting to me, sits in front of me with a concerned look on his face. I was sneezing all through our walk today too, and I had to stop a couple of times. He just gave me the same look and was content to wait for me.
I couldn't have asked for a better match. He is definitely what I needed.

Very cute!
Very cute and it sounds like he is a wonderful companion! Although those behaviors may be cute for now, I would definitely work on getting out to socialize him more with other people while he is young or it could translate into some not so cute behaviors later on in life.
I socialize him multiple times a day every day. (: He's nice if someone wants to say hi to him, but he won't be the first to go to them.
What a sweetie! Love the dinner dance.
Cindy,
It looks as though this was uploaded to Youtube. Your iPad certainly permits you to view Youtube on Safari-right (?)
Even my old iPhone will do that.
Here is a link to youtube. Hope this helps
using the web browser Puffin allows you to see flash on your iPad :)
Just go to the app store on your iPad and search for Puffin, it's free and then use it instead of Safari to go to any of the sites that you regularly use that way you should be able to see all the videos.
I do a version of that. If I leave, I have someone at least try to get his attention so he's not thinking about it that much.
