On the main website page, in the left hand discussion column, though, it is almost gone. If only the newbies would ask their questions in the appropriate groups.....or maybe just read the help section....

Does it matter that much? If the discussions are still at the top in the main forum, and on the activity part of the main page?

Those are the places I look most often at least. I never even noticed there was a left hand discussion list. In my opinion the most prominent is the activity section in the middle, as well as the forum area itself...

Not me. I go to the discussion column or the blog column first.

Not me, I also go to the two columns on the main page, but now that I know I may just go to the forum page and check.

I do however notice things in the middle that I otherwise would have totally missed.

Monty discovered the "dog park" deck this morning.

After a nice play with the rest of the doodles, he enjoyed a bath and a massage, and is now resting.
