So cute! Thanks for the pictures!
Nugget got her summer cut today. We tried something new and it worked great! I made an appt for her with a mobile grooming van. The guy was great, she looks good, she is very cool and happy and I didn't need to leave her anywhere! He came right to our driveway. Win-win. A bit more pricey than a regular groomer, but since I do most of her groomings myself, I figured it was OK to splurge on the summer cut grooming.

Her body is pretty close shaved, her ears and tail are fluffy. We miss the doodle-fluff, too, but she is SOOOO happy and it will grow back.
Lilly gets her summer cut tomorrow, I left her long all winter and she is feeling the heat now, she walks around and pants in the AC. We get her about 1 inch.
Guess I'm the "odd man - woman out" - I like to keep Tori a bit longer than most... she's much shorter than winter but still long from what I see here. I will try and take a picture of her tomorrow and post. Hope Coach came out the way you wanted today!
Just saw the photos of Coach. he looks great!
Thanks!
Thanks! Short but will grow out!
Absolutely. Angus is SO much more comfortable with a puppy cut. He looks like an entirely different dog - much thinner looking, but without it, the slightest exercise in the warmer months leaves him panting. He gets a lot of exercise and I don't want to curtail his pleasure by making him wear a winter coat in the summer. It grows back very quickly. I find even a 1" cut too long for the summer for him - don't know exactly how short she does it - probably half inch. I have his head and tail left longer. Good luck.
My groomer did a 3/4 cut and it is short, but like you said it will grow back. He is more comfortable in this heat. He goes on runs with my daughter and I don't worry as much when he is cut short.
