Do you have a "chick magnet"?

Omaha had a wine and balloon festival this evening!  It started at 5 and ends at 11!  This was our first time going..didn't know what to expect.  My DH does not like crowds so I knew we weren't going to be there for long.  So, we took Rua to work on interacting in the crowds.

 

We got there at 5:45PM and left around 7:45.  Rua did pretty well.  If I had a dollar for everytime we were stopped and asked what kind of dog she was or if they could pet her, I could have bought several bottles of wine. 

 

We did get to see some balloons fill and go up.

 

Rua didn't mind the crowds and the noise.

As we were leaving, I had DH carry Rua out because if was really getting crowded.

 

 

 

Given Rua was quite visible as we were walking out, many people (women, mostly) would stop DH and talk to him, asking about Rua.

 

We get in the car and my DH says...."Rua is really a chick-magnet".  I had to laugh.  So now I suppose he'll be wanting to take her on outings.

 

So, do you have a "chick magnet"?

Halas is a chick magnet, but that doesn't do me any good. Oh, well, at least Halas seems to enjoy it.

I didn't see this discussion before I commented on the pic  Up Up and Away.  

You are brave to take a dog to this.  Good job, Rua.  Those burners can make humans jump let alone a dog.   Make horses crazy and farmers shoot at them!!!  

Ballooning is so beautiful from afar.  Such Hard work with you crew.  HARD WORK.  I'm too old now. HA.  I'll watch from the ground now.

Yes!! Sunny is such a chick magnet. My brother often takes her to the local universities just to meet people (girls).

Yoda is absolutely a chick magnet.  We always try to get my BIL to walk him so that he can meet a nice dog-loving woman :)

Chloe is a chick magnet, DH wants to leave me & Myla home all the time. When we go with, we see hardly nobody and when he takes Chloe alone they are gone forever!! That's ok because then I go on DK!!

haha, cute!!!!! My DH's runs a local ball hockey company, and most people who work there are young men (around 20's). My DH had a booth set up at the local fair recently, and his employees insisted on taking Lola around the fair to "pick up". SO funny!!!! They love her so much!

Yes, Cooper is definitely a Chick magnet!   When we take him out, we get stopped repeatedly asking if he is a "Doodle" and people can't believe he is so small.  There are a lot of people that can't understand how you "make" a mini Doodle.  LOL!  I don't think I should have to explain it to them, so I just leave them shaking their heads  when I tell them his mother was an English Golden Retriever and his father a Miniature Poodle.
