Sometimes things are so funny and unexpected that you just have to share.

A few days ago my DH started a converstion with "I have to tell you what I did today and I really hope no one was watching". I was almost afraid to hear what he was going to say next. The story continued like this, " While I was at the golf course today walking with Quincy he was having problems with snowballs stuck to his paws. He had one that was really bothering him and he would stop every few steps and try to chew it off. Quincy couldn't seem to get rid of it so I tried to pick it off for him. I tried to get it off with my fingers but I couldn't get it either, so I took a quick look to make sure no one was watching and then I picked up his paw and chewed it off myself". OMD, I couldn't quite believe he had just said that, I found myself practically falling on the floor from laughing. When I finally stopped laughing I said " You know I am going to write a blog about this because it is just too funny to keep to myself". He just smiled, I think he already knew when he told me that his secret wasn't going to be so secret anymore.

Do you have funny stories of things that you have done for your doodles that would make other people say, "I can't believe you did that? If so please share your stories here, I promise not to tell, your secret is safe with me. :>)

lol.... I once accidently reused a plate for a snack that I had let Shelby lick clean!  Oh well....

ha! I would do the same.

I ate cereal out of the bowl after the kitty had laped up her share.

These doodles are so funny - that we all know to be true, but when our DHs start doing things us Doodlemoms may do, that's when we know they've got "it" too! "DOODLE FEVER" !  I know I must have stories like these, but I'll have to really think about that... between DH and MIL and FIL there are so many!

Does putting giant cheese head hats on them and taking pictures count? Or how about buying clothes for Vern for his Jane Goodall costume and giving the Ralph Lauren underwear he wore for that costume to my son-in-law in his stocking for Christmas. My son-in-law said, "Now, I am getting hand me downs from VERN?"

I do think your SIL has a point. But then waste not, want not.

Hey, I did wash them before I added them to his stocking and they were his size....LOL!!

No one could be more considerate.

LOL

Laurie, you've given a whole new meaning to regifting. I just hope you don't pick my name for the gift exchange, I don't think I'd look good in a cheese hat.

Hey, at least the cheese hat was only on top of their heads.

LOL

Donna, I do have the underwear Vern wore after he got neutered :)
