Now this guy REALLY loves his pup! When I first saw the picture I thought it was a doodle. I *think* I would do the same to save my dog. Would you?

I think I would too, just instinctual to save what you love, he probably didn't even think twice. What a sweet dog.
WOW!!!
Oh yes, I would do whatever I could, no doubt!!
How sweet the 2 of them are, what a pair...
I think the adrenalin would kick in and I would do it automatically. I LOVE my doodle!
Mandy is such a sweet girl, it has to be hard to watch any animail in this type of situation, and worse for the owner. I definetly would react the same way, and don't even want to think of what would have happened had her owner not saved her.
Like my children I think I'd do anything to save her and I'm a big chicken. But not when someones messing with my "kids" then I go into Mama mode (so watch out). I'd have grabbed a shovel or something though on my way if I'd have had one close by.
I'd like to think I would too but a 7 foot alligator would be pretty scary. You wouldn't really know unless you were in the situation.
no question......I would probably do the same. My husband would have probably kept wrestling the alligator, just to be sure it was dead, as he is obsessively in love with both our doodles;)
Can't imagine having alligators in my backyard, must be weird.
Okay - love that story and just sent it to all of my friends who have doggies. They all replied back immediately with a "heck yes" we would do the same! Ha! My friend who is pregnant said it made her burst into tears. Thanks for posting that link. A good story that warms the heart. But also makes me happy I am living in a landlocked state!
I think if either of our dogs was in trouble I wouldn't be able to stop myself from helping them regardless of the situation. I hope I'm never in that position!!
