I have been looking at a few dog magazines lately on FB.  Do any of you subscribe to any magazines and if you do, which ones would you recommend....or stay away from?

Thanks DK'ers....

I subscribe to THE BArkand I like it. I'm thinking about Modern Dog

Nope, I have DK : )

Good answer, good answer!

We subscribe to Whole Dog Journal.  This magazine does not accept any advertising.  Some people say this publication is like the Consumer Reports of the dog world.  Every Christmas, I buy a gift subscription for the dog trainer where we take training classes.  She loves it, also!  Around the holiday season, a subscription usually costs around $20.  This magazine is a definite must have!!!!!

I subscribe to BARK magazine.

I subscribe to Bark.  I think the articles are relevant and well written.  I just got my latest edition, and there is a gorgeous picture of a snowy doodle on the second page.  Photography is good and usually the product recomendations and advertisements are good.

I get Modern Dog - love it!

I get Dog Fancy, but its aimed more towards purebreds.  I still enjoy the magazine though and their are some good articles in in it.  Every month they feature a different breed in it.  I enjoy learning about different breeds of dogs, so it stimulates my brain.

oooohh, doggie magazines. One more doodle related item to spend my money on. I'm going to look into some of the recommendations here...

YES..... Cesar's Way and Doggie Aficinado and now afer reading this I am going to get Whole Dog Journal.  I can never read enough about dogs :)

I'm with F on this one. The only dogs I want to read about are Doodles, so unless there's a doodle magazine, I'll just stick with DK.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.  I think I am going to get The Bark and Ceasars Way for now.
